In a dimly lit room, a contemplative pause. The relishing of quietude, and stillness. There is an opulent aroma in the air: a fragrance that is floral, spicy and subtly green, that intrigues and lulls.
The curtains are drawn back, and sunlight fills the space, revealing elaborate wall-hangings, looming bookshelves, and faded tapestries draped over chairs, tables, couches. The outside world hums along at its usual pace, but in here, time seems to drift and disappear.
By the window, all aglow, a cushion-laden daybed extends its unspoken invitation. The acceptance is immediate; the drop to softly worn fabric, a relief.
Through the stillness, a reverie emerges.
