Aesop’s first Swiss signature store, located at the Oberdorfstrasse, was created in collaboration with architect Rodney Eggleston from March Studio. The design is the result of various influences embedded in Zurich’s history and culture. The city’s orderly sensibility inspired an interior that is quietly composed and deliberately unadorned. Its respect both for the past and for intelligent innovation encouraged the use of reduxed construction material for shelves and fittings – specifically, yellow hoarding boards sourced from construction sites throughout Zurich.
